Pilot project

Phase one: prove the model

The pilot tests the whole loop on a small scale: free local programs, paid international stays, and the local economy connecting them.

Goals of the pilot

  • Run the first Lab programs for local youth
  • Host the first workations and company retreats at Casa del Juniper
  • Generate the first international revenue that funds local programs
  • Activate the first local providers: accommodation, food, experiences
  • Measure everything — participants, hours, bookings, income and effect

What is being tested

Does international demand exist? Do local young people show up? Does visitor spending reach local businesses? The pilot answers these questions with real data before larger investments are made.

Timeline

  1. 1

    Foundation

Preparing Casa del Juniper, building partnerships, recruiting the first participants and designing programs.

  2. 2

    First programs

The first Lab courses, the first workations with Swedish and international guests, and the first retreats.

  3. 3

    Evaluation and scale

Measuring the results, refining the model and preparing the next phase — more programs, more visitors, more local ventures.

What the pilot needs

The pilot is looking for public partners, funders and early customers: municipalities and institutions that want to co-create, companies that want to book the first retreats, and mentors who want to contribute knowledge.
